About

Growing up and well into my adult life, I navigated a world filled with contradictions. On one hand, there were the teachings of my faith, preaching love and acceptance. On the other, there were the harsh realities of discrimination and prejudice, leaving me feeling like I didn’t belong.

It wasn’t until I embraced my identity as a queer individual that everything changed. But even then, the journey wasn’t easy. I had to confront not only external biases but also the internalized shame and guilt that had been ingrained in me from a young age.

In the midst of this struggle, a seed was planted – a vision of a place where healing wasn’t just possible, but inevitable. A sanctuary where queer individuals and those affected by religious trauma could find solace, understanding, and most importantly, hope.

At its core, LuminaMind aims to provide a safe space where individuals can come as they are, free from judgment or prejudice, and embark on a journey of self-discovery and healing.

My mission is simple yet profound: to help those who feel stuck in the grip of trauma, PTSD, anxiety, and low self-esteem find their way back to themselves. I see therapy as a partnership, a collaboration between therapist and client, built on trust, empathy, and mutual respect.

Having walked the path of religious trauma and self-discovery myself, I understand firsthand the struggles and challenges that lie ahead. But I also know that with the right support and guidance, healing is possible.
